Players are getting more options to tackle these upcoming waves! During the Unreal Fest ’23 in Shanghai, the free-to-play open-world action RPG Wuthering Waves was confirmed for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The game was previously announced for PC, Android, and iOS devices. This comes after the devs announced big changes after the first closed beta, including a 90% rewrite of the story.

Based on a translation by @wutheringshores on X (formerly known as Twitter), the PS5 version’s graphic settings “will be identical to the ultra settings of the PC version.” Meanwhile, the PS4 version will run a bit higher graphically than mobile devices.

Wuthering Waves is currently in its second closed beta. You can sign up for it on the game’s official website. Here is a new trailer to coincide with the new beta:

Lastly, the development team released an interview detailing the changes they’ve made across the last nine months since the previous closed beta, which includes updating the game’s color palette, rewriting 90% of the story, and more.

Wuthering Waves will launch globally, but no official date has been given yet. Stay tuned to RPGFan as we await a release date!
