Christmas Adventure – from Saturday Morning RPG

Review by · January 22, 2014

As a game, Saturday Morning RPG is all about the ’80s references, and one might think that this would be a little hard to translate into the backing music for a Christmas episode… but thanks to a visit from our friend the electronic keyboard, Vince DiCola was able to bring that ’80s feeling into this track as well. This almost 9 minute medley begins with an original festive tune, but then shifts into a few well-known Christmas songs before finishing with a reprise of the original music to set things up for successful looping in the game. It’s a fun, upbeat track that’s both written and played well, and it’s worth listening to if you still have a smidge of Christmas spirit left in you.
